Since I've been in BJ's in many different location and I liked them, especially for the special menu week days, but I've never been in Lazy Dog, so my family took me here. This one is in a big shopping center so there are many parking spaces to choose from. Walked into the front where the AC was on nice and cold on a hot day, but my family came out from the side and called us in, this is an extended area for people with pets, mostly dogs, I wasn't happy at all sitting around all these nice dogs, but they got the table and I didn't want to impose LOL. Appetizer was lettuce wrap, very little portion and not very tasty as many other ones (Elephant Bar, RIP, PF Chang), anyhow, I didn't expect it to be great. Everyone ordered burgers and I ordered Roast Beef Dip with Onion Rings. The roast beef was good, and the onion rings are crispy, very nice. The prices are reasonable, but I didn't get to pay. Anyhow, it's good to see what's the difference between these 2 American restaurants BJ's and Lazy Dog right across from Mowry Ave in Newark. For me, I prefer BJ's. I'm going there tonight, after finishing this review.

Food at Lazy Dog was really good, portions are huge, you definitely get your money's worth. Menu has a really diverse range too, which is cool, feels like there's something for everyone. Only thing was the pad Thai was a little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still amazing overall. Atmosphere is giving Jackson Wyoming vibes, super cozy lodge feel. Will definitely be back.

Really like coming here when we're in Fremont. Their menu is very extensive. There is so much to pick from. When you go in happy hour, a well rounded drinks to choose from. We had a pomegranate red sangrΓa pitcher during happy hour for only $15.00.

Honestly, Lazy Dog is my ultimate go-to restaurant, and it never disappoints. It’s the perfect spot whether I’m going out for a fun night with my girlfriends, they have a really nice selection of drinks or bringing my kids along for a family meal because it’s so kid-friendly. The vibe is always lively and welcoming, and their menu is huge with a ton of delicious options for both vegetarians and meat-lovers alike. It’s just a great place to hang out and eat well.

We went for brunch on Mother's Day. We had a reservation so we were seated without a wait. I ordered the Country Quiche with potato tots; it was very good. The tots were nice and crispy. I enjoyed a Bloody Mary with my meal. It provided a perfectly spicey pairing with the Quiche. Service was good, especially for a busy day.
